Bambusa maculata - Pring Tutul *New

Beautiful ornamental bamboo. Positively identified specimens are difficult to find in the USA. Green culms with occasional cream stripes. Unique in that the culms dry with an unusual mottled pattern of brown spots covering the whole culm. Used extensively in Indonesia for furniture making. The word maculata is derived from the Latin word maculatus, meaning "spotted".
